Keswick Public School
The Curriculum
The traditional educational system where the learning experiences
were imposed, involuntary and structured, and where the pupil was a
captive audience, rather than a major actor, is happily being
replaced by a new era of child-centered education. Thus, in the
Keswick Public School, the curriculum has been so framed, that the
individual child is the core of the whole programme. An atmosphere
of relaxed easy human relationship between the children and the
teacher pervades the class room. The children are encouraged to get
involved in the exciting adventure of learning experiences, through
discussion, enquiry and experimentation.
